Softball Recap: St. Scholastica Takes a Loss

After flying high against Hammond last Wednesday, St. Scholastica came back down to earth. St. Scholastica fell 7-2 to Lakeshore on Thursday. If the Doves were looking for revenge after losing 9-3 to Lakeshore when the teams met back in March of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

St. Scholastica now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Lakeshore, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Scholastica will square off against St. Thomas Aquinas at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lakeshore, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Mandeville at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Lakeshore's pitchers better be ready for this one: Mandeville has averaged an impressive 9.5 runs per game this season.
