Basketball Recap: Buckhorn Finds Home Court Redemption Against Boyd County

There's no place like home for Buckhorn, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They walked away with a 68-61 win over the Boyd County Lions on Saturday.

Buckhorn has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.5 points per game. As for Boyd County, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Buckhorn will be home for the holidays to greet Grissom at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Buckhorn's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four contests. Boyd County and Winter Haven will compete for holiday cheer at 9:00 p.m. on Thursday.
