Volleyball Game Preview: Weymouth Wildcats vs. Archbishop Williams Bishops

Weymouth is on a four-game streak of home losses, and Archbishop Williams a six-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Friday. The Weymouth Wildcats will host the Archbishop Williams Bishops at 5:30 p.m.

It was a proper cat-fight when Weymouth took on Newton North on Wednesday. The Wildcats lost 3-0 to the Tigers.

While Weymouth was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Newton North's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-6, 25-12, 25-14.

Meanwhile, Archbishop Williams made easy work of Fontbonne Academy on Wednesday and carried off a 3-0 victory.

While Archbishop Williams might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Fontbonne Academy scored at least 20 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-22, 25-22.

Archbishop Williams is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season. As for Weymouth, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-15.
