Volleyball Recap: Kit Carson Takes a Loss

Kit Carson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Hoehne Farmers. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Farmers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2022.

Avery Johnson paced Kit Carson's offense, picking up seven kills. Johnson really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with five. She was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Kit Carson's loss dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Hoehne, their victory bumped their record up to 7-8.

Kit Carson wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Simla on the 27th. As for Hoehne, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 win against Idalia on the 27th.
