Basketball Recap: Kern Valley Has No Trouble Against Wasco

Kern Valley had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They were the clear victors by a 49-26 margin over the Wasco Tigers on Saturday.

Among those leading the charge was Aiden Madden, who posted nine points. Another player making a difference was Casey Trumpower, who put up eight points.

Kern Valley was working as a unit and finished the game with 11 assists. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their assist total in three consecutive contests.

Kern Valley's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Wasco, they are on a 16-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Coming up, Kern Valley will take on Lindsay in a tournament on Monday. As for Wasco, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Foothill at 6:30 p.m. on December 2.
