Baseball Game Preview: Lincoln Mustangs vs. Aragon Dons

The Lincoln Mustangs are taking a road trip to challenge the Aragon Dons at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.

Lincoln's last matchup with University could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's contest on Tuesday. Lincoln came up short against University, falling 9-3.

Lincoln saw eight different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jerry Hou, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2. Everett Carvalho was another, going 1-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Aragon took care of business in their home opener on Wednesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand Washington a 5-0 shutout. The victory continues a trend for the Dons in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won six in a row.

Jordan Kiaaina was excellent, scoring a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Lincoln came up short against Aragon in their previous meeting back in March of 2024, falling 6-3. Can Lincoln avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
