Volleyball Recap: Columbus Takes a Loss

Columbus was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Broadwater Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 two weeks ago.

Columbus' loss dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Broadwater, their victory bumped their record up to 17-5-2.

Looking ahead, Columbus will square off against Joliet at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Broadwater, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 1-0 win against Choteau on the 4th.
