Volleyball Recap: Providence Christian Academy Continues Home Dominance on Thursday

The home team had won the previous five meetings between Providence Christian Academy and King's Ridge Christian, and Providence Christian Academy kept the tradition alive. The Storm came out on top against the Tigers by a score of 2-0 on Thursday. That's more bragging rights for the Storm, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The win didn't come easy: King's Ridge Christian scored at least 18 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-18.

Sazy Cantrell paced Providence Christian Academy's offense, picking up nine kills. Cantrell got some help from Sydney Cook and her 21 assists. Reece Myers controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Providence Christian Academy pushed their record up to 2-2 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. As for King's Ridge Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.

Providence Christian Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Mountain View on the 14th. As for King's Ridge Christian, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Loganville on the 14th.
