Grimsley's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Bishop McGuinness Villains. That three set margin sets a new team best for the Whirlies this season.

The final score came out to 25-19, 25-10, 25-12.

The victory snapped Grimsley's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 5-3 record. As for Bishop McGuinness, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 1-2.

Coming up, Grimsley will face off against Southwest Guilford at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bishop McGuinness, they will square off against Starmount at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
