Volleyball Recap: Flowing Wells Takes a Loss

Flowing Wells was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Independence Patriots.

Flowing Wells' offense was headlined by Ashley Evano and Grace Howell, who picked up seven kills apiece. They got some help from Rhyleigh Marshall and her 11 assists. She was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Flowing Wells' loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Independence, the win snapped their losing streak at nine games and leaves them with a 2-9 record.

Flowing Wells has already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Desert View on the 23rd. As for Independence, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 defeat against Washington on the 23rd.
