O'Connor had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Boulder Creek Jaguars as they made off with a 3-0 win.

One reason for the win was O'Connor's defense just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final set scores wound up at 25-22, 25-14, 25-12.

O'Connor's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Alayah Krein led the charge by getting 14 kills, seven digs, and three aces. Another player making a difference was London Clark, who had 31 assists and seven digs.

Don't pin this defeat on Layla Bruhn, who kept things from getting worse by getting 14 assists and seven digs.

O'Connor has now won five of their last six games on the road. That somehow still isn't as good as their 24-3 record this season. Boulder Creek (13-11) has now lost three in a row.

Coincidentally, O'Connor and Boulder Creek will both be playing Liberty the next time they take the court. The Eagles will host the Lions at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Jaguars will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on the 20th.
