Basketball Game Preview: Walker Wolverines vs. Galloway Scots

The Walker Wolverines will head out on the road to take on the Galloway Scots at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Walker is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.

On Tuesday, Walker took a blow against Fellowship Christian, falling 62-12. The matchup marked the Wolverines' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, Galloway unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 66-48 bruising from St. Francis. While losing is never fun, the Scots can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 120th, while the Knights are ranked third).

Walker's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Galloway, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.

Walker beat Galloway 48-36 when the teams last played back in November of 2018. The rematch might be a little tougher for Walker since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
