Illini Central can bid farewell to their 14-match losing streak thanks to their match on Saturday. They came out on top against the Cornerstone Christian Cyclones by a score of 2-0. The Cougars were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Cyclones, so the Cougars were just returning the favor.

Illini Central's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Morgan Peterson, who had 23 digs. Peterson has been hot, having posted 11 or more digs the last five times she's played. Elayna Snyder was another key player, getting eight digs, three aces, and one block.
