South Gate is 6-1 against Garfield since March of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Rams will challenge the Bulldogs at 4:00 p.m. South Gate is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.

South Gate lost 3-0 to South East two weeks ago.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-21, 25-16.

Meanwhile, Garfield hadn't done well against Legacy recently (they were 0-7 in their previous seven matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Bulldogs won by a set and slipped past the Tigers 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Bulldogs have posted since March 13th.

If you add up the scores from across all five sets (109-104) Garfield actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. The final score came out to 19-25, 29-27, 25-23, 16-25, 15-9.

South Gate's defeat dropped their record down to 9-14. As for Garfield, they now have a winning record of 10-9.

South Gate couldn't quite get it done against Garfield when the teams last played back in March as they fell 3-1. Can the Rams avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
