Basketball Game Preview: Kenyon-Wanamingo Knights vs. LeRoy-Ostrander Cardinals

The Kenyon-Wanamingo Knights will challenge the LeRoy-Ostrander Cardinals at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Last Tuesday, Kenyon-Wanamingo was fully in charge, breezing past Alden-Conger 78-47.

Meanwhile, LeRoy-Ostrander had to suffer through a 97-56 loss at the hands of Southland. The Cardinals have struggled against the Rebels recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

LeRoy-Ostrander now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Kenyon-Wanamingo, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Kenyon-Wanamingo didn't have too much breathing room in their match against LeRoy-Ostrander in their previous meeting back in January of 2020, but they still walked away with an 80-74 victory. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was LeRoy-Ostrander's Riley Olson, who dropped a double-double on 33 points and 16 rebounds.
