Monterey had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Salinas Cowboys with a sharp 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 on April 1st.

Monterey not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Salinas between 17 and 19 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-17, 25-19.

Monterey pushed their record up to 18-10 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. As for Salinas, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-10.

Monterey didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Clovis on the 25th. As for Salinas, they will challenge Carmel at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
