Volleyball Recap: Franklin Academy Comes Up Short

Franklin Academy and Gates County squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Franklin Academy had to settle for second. They lost 3-0 to the Red Barons. The Patriots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Franklin Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 6-16. As for Gates County, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-8 record this season.

Franklin Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Gates County, they are taking a road trip to square off against Roxboro Community at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
