Game recap

CARMICHAEL, Calif. - After two lead changes, Oak Ridge (El Dorado Hills, Calif.) took the lead for the win when Adam Walter kicked a field goal with less than a minute remaining in the fifth quarter and held on to beat Jesuit (Carmichael, Calif.) 45-42 on Saturday.

After nabbing the lead on a touchdown run by Ben Parietti, the Marauders went into halftime with a 43-20 lead. The Trojans scored the winning points with a field goal by Walter that came in the fifth quarter.

Despite scoring 14 points in the third, Oak Ridge still trailed by nine points going into the fourth quarter. But seven points in the fourth helped OR pull out the victory.

The El Dorado Hills school looked to be in trouble when it trailed by 21 points before coming back to defeat Jesuit.

Last season's game between the teams resulted in a 28-14 win for the Trojans.

The loss comes after Jesuit defeated Sheldon 69-40 last week. With the win Oak Ridge extended its winning streak to four games.
