Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Second Baptist). They blew past the St. John's Mavericks 75-26 on Saturday. The victory was nothing new for the Eagles as they're now sitting on three straight.

Grace Wehring continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, shooting 73% from the field en route to 21 points and six rebounds. She is on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as she's posted one of at least 73% in the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Reese Ertan, who made all 5 shots she took for 12 points.

Second Baptist was working as a unit and finished the game with 17 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Second Baptist's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for St. John's, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Looking ahead, Second Baptist will take on Victoria East in a tournament on Thursday. As for St. John's, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on St. Francis Episcopal at 7:00 p.m. on the 18th.
