Waverly/South Shore and Northwestern Area squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Waverly/South Shore had to settle for second. They lost 52-32 to the Northwestern Area Wildcats. The Coyotes have struggled against the Wildcats recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Waverly/South Shore's defeat dropped their record down to 7-14. As for Northwestern Area, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season.

Waverly/South Shore does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Northwestern Area, they will challenge Wilmot on Thursday.
