After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Patapsco, Western Tech & Environmental Science was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 17-3 margin over the Kenwood Bluebirds. The Wolverines haven't had any issues with the Bluebirds recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Western Tech & Environmental Science got a massive performance out of Juliahna Thomas, who fired off two home runs, three runs, and four RBI while going 3-for-3. Reagan Lenhardt was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI.

Western Tech & Environmental Science always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .774. The last time their OBP was this high was was before the start of last season.

Western Tech & Environmental Science picked up their first home victory, bumping their record up to 3-8. As for Kenwood, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-10 record this season.
