Basketball Recap: Nampa Comes Up Short

Nampa was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss. They took a blow against the Middleton Vikings, falling 94-16. The Bulldogs were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 56-9.

Middleton found their leader in sophomore Olivia Blackwell, who went 10 of 11 on her way to 22 points and four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Blackwell has scored all season. Finlee Fried was another key player, going 5 for 9 en route to 10 points and seven boards.

Nampa's defeat dropped their record down to 1-19. As for Middleton, the win (which was their 16th in a row) raised their record to 20-1.

As of now, neither Nampa nor Middleton have any future games scheduled.
