Softball Recap: Manning Comes Up Short

Manning was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 12-9 to the Marion Swamp Foxes. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Monarchs of the 18-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2025.

Manning now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Marion, their record is now 6-8.

Manning does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Marion, they will venture away from home to face off against East Clarendon at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
