Soccer Recap: Palmer Ridge Comes Up Short

Palmer Ridge entered their matchup against Air Academy on Thursday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Bears fell just short of the Kadets by a score of 3-2. While losing is never fun, Palmer Ridge can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Colorado soccer rankings (they are ranked 94th, while Air Academy are ranked 20th).

Liam Doyle and Will Dunham scored both of Palmer Ridge's goals, bringing their combined season tally to eight goals.

Palmer Ridge suffered their first home loss, dropping their record down to 5-4-1. As for Air Academy, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-2-1.
