Basketball Recap: Stevenson Comes Up Short

Stevenson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They lost 60-37 to the Castle Rock Rockets. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 86-54 back in January.

Stevenson's loss dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Castle Rock, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 10-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Stevenson will challenge Seton Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Castle Rock, they will face off against Columbia at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Columbia knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven matches -- so hopefully Castle Rock likes a good challenge.
