Football Recap: Dansville/Wayland-Cohocton Drops Season-High Score on Newark/Marion

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Dansville/Wayland-Cohocton). They took down Newark/Marion 34-20 on Thursday. Dansville/Wayland-Cohocton hasn't had any issues with Newark/Marion recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Loss or not, Newark/Marion got some senior leadership from Darrien Streeter and Ki'Marion Woolfolk. Streeter gained 146 total yards and a touchdown, while Woolfolk picked up 87 receiving yards and a pair of scores. Woolfolk didn't just play on offense: he also forced one fumble, made four total tackles, and defended one pass.

The win got Dansville/Wayland-Cohocton back to even at 4-4. As for Newark/Marion, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-4.

As of now, neither Dansville/Wayland-Cohocton nor Newark/Marion have any future games scheduled.
