Football Recap: University Lab Gets the Win

The matchup between University Lab and St. Paul on Friday hardly resembled the 1-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Cubs walked away with a 36-25 win over the Wolves. This was payback for the Cubs, who suffered a 1-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.

The victory made it two in a row for University Lab and bumps their season record up to 3-2. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 25 points in those games. As for St. Paul's, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. University Lab will welcome Helix Mentorship & Maritime Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for St. Paul's, they will be playing at home against Hammond at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Wolves will need to watch out since the Tornadoes have now posted at least 31 points in their last three games.
