Basketball Recap: Friday Harbor Wolverines vs. La Conner Braves
Friday Harbor lost against La Conner back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Friday Harbor Wolverines were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 54-53 to the La Conner Braves.

Friday Harbor's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Pierce Kleine, who went 8 for 17 on his way to 22 points. Kleine's evening made it 17 games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Mamadou Hoskins, who went 7 of 12 en route to 15 points.
Friday Harbor's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12. As for La Conner, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-8.
Friday Harbor will venture away from home to challenge Concrete at 5:30 p.m. on January 28th. As for La Conner, they will welcome Darrington at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. La Conner is facing Darrington at the right time seeing as Darrington is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
