Mansfield won the last time they faced Green Oaks and things went their way on Thursday too. The Wolverines secured a 28-22 W over the Giants. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wolverines.

Terrell Pegues had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 253 yards and a pair of touchdowns while picking up 9.4 yards per carry, and also caught one score.

Mansfield's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Green Oaks, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
