Basketball Recap: Arcadia Victorious

Arcadia proved they can win big on Wednesday (they won by 39) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They escaped with a win against the Red River Bulldogs by the margin of a single free throw, 52-51. That's more bragging rights for the Hornets, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Arcadia's win bumped their record up to 9-6. As for Red River, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-6 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Arcadia will take on Gibsland-Coleman in a holiday battle at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Red River and Pleasant Hill will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
