Platte County fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back victories it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They strolled past the Barstow Knights with points to spare on Monday, taking the game 56-39.

Platte County's win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-11. As for Barstow, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-8.

Platte County didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 76-54 defeat against Blue Springs South on the 28th. As for Barstow, they will take on Heritage Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on February 4th.
