Baseball Recap: Union City Picks Up Fifth Straight Win at Home

Union City never let their opponents score on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Webbers Falls Warriors as they made off with a 10-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won 16 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Andrew Dennis looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out seven over four innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up a single earned run in five consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Aiden Williams was a standout: he went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one double. Another player making a difference was Carson Biffle, who went 2-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Union City's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 24-6. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.6 runs over those games. As for Webbers Falls, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-13-1.

As of now, neither Union City nor the Warriors have any future games scheduled.
