Basketball Recap: Constitution Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Constitution waltzed into their contest on Sunday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Springfield Cougars, sneaking past 42-39. The Generals have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Cougars, too.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Constitution to victory, but perhaps none more so than Khaleek Johnson, who posted nine points and three steals. Johnson has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Chaz Hannah, who earned 11 points.

Constitution's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-5. As for Springfield, they moved to 8-2 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Constitution didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, an 84-73 defeat against Audenried on the 7th. As for Springfield, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 40-37 loss against Garnet Valley on the 7th.
