Volleyball Recap: Center Takes a Loss

Center was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Lincoln College Prep Blue Tigers. The Yellowjackets were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Blue Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Center took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 19-25, 22-25, 25-16, 15-11.

Center's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Lincoln College Prep, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.

Coming up, Center will look to takes advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they takes on Southeast at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lincoln College Prep, they will head out to face off against Raytown South at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
