Basketball Game Preview: Mason Eagles vs. Wilson-Henryetta Tigers

Mason is 2-8 against Wilson-Henryetta since February of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Mason Eagles will face off against the Wilson-Henryetta Tigers at 7:30 p.m.

Last Friday, Mason took a blow against Moss, falling 71-35. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Wilson-Henryetta didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Glenpool on Saturday, but they still walked away with a 51-46 victory. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 105th, while the Warriors are ranked 257th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Wilson-Henryetta's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-5. As for Mason, their loss dropped their record down to 2-16.

Mason might still be hurting after the 74-50 defeat they got from Wilson-Henryetta in their previous matchup back in January of 2024. Can Mason avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
