Baseball Recap: Roncalli Catholic Comes Up Short

Roncalli Catholic lost to Ralston back in April of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Lions lost 11-1 to the Rams. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Abel Jimenez Escobar was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and one run.

Roncalli Catholic's record is now 7-7. As for Ralston, their win bumped their record up to 12-6.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Roncalli Catholic will square off against rival Concordia/Brownell/Omaha Christian Academy at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Ralston is set to take on their familiar foe Bellevue East at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
