Basketball Recap: Wilson Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Wilson Christian Academy lost against Rocky Mount Academy back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Chargers had to suffer through a 49-22 loss at the hands of the Eagles.

Taylor Carmichael went supernova For Rocky Mount Academy., putting up 23 points. The team also got some help courtesy of McKenna Rogers, who posted six points in addition to 12 boards and five assists.

Wilson Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Rocky Mount Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Wilson Christian Academy won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Cape Fear Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Rocky Mount Academy, they will take on Christ Covenant at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
