Basketball Recap: LIGHT HomeSchool Takes a Loss

LIGHT HomeSchool's tournament run continued when they took on Southwest Virginia Academy on Friday. The LIGHT HomeSchool Eagles received a blow as they fell 87-69 to the Southwest Virginia Academy Conquerors. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Thursday (63), the Eagles still had to take the loss.

LIGHT HomeSchool's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Southwest Virginia Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-12 record this season.

LIGHT HomeSchool does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Southwest Virginia Academy, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 63-37 victory against Tournament Opponent on the 8th.
