Prospect took a three-goal loss the last time they faced off against Buffalo Grove, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Knights beat the Bison by a goal, winning 1-0. Prospect were shut out 3-0 the last time they took on Buffalo Grove, so Prospect were just returning the favor.

Prospect's one-goal win came courtesy of Rachel Asper, which was the first she's scored this season.

Prospect now has a winning record of 6-5-1. As for Buffalo Grove, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-6-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Prospect will venture away from home to square off against Rolling Meadows at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Buffalo Grove, they will head out to challenge Hersey at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hersey will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Buffalo Grove surely won't give up without a fight.
