Softball Recap: Charter School for Applied Tech Comes Up Short at Home Against Mount Mercy Academy

Charter School for Applied Tech unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Mount Mercy Academy Magic on Wednesday, falling 20-0. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

The victory (which was Mount Mercy Academy's third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Magic beat Charter School for Applied Tech by a score of 9-7 later that day.
