Volleyball Recap: Galloway Comes Up Short

Galloway was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Mt. Bethel Christian Academy Eagles. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Scots of the 2-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2023.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Galloway sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The final score came out to 25-19, 21-25, 15-13.

Galloway's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Mt. Bethel Christian Academy, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.

Looking ahead, Galloway will head out to square off against Lovett at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Lions will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Scots surely won't give up without a fight. As for Mt. Bethel Christian Academy, they will square off against Sprayberry at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
