Volleyball Recap: Logan/Palco vs. Sylvan-Lucas Mustangs
Logan/Palco was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Sylvan-Lucas Mustangs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Sylvan-Lucas this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 two weeks ago.
Hope Couse paced Logan/Palco's offense, picking up five kills. Couse got some help from Breyer Delimont and her nine assists. Couse was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.
Logan/Palco's defeat dropped their record down to 6-15. As for Sylvan-Lucas, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season.
Logan/Palco didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against St. John's/Tipton Catholic on the 27th.
