Volleyball Recap: Byron Extends Home Winning Streak to Five

There's no place like home for Byron, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They came out on top against the North Boone Vikings by a score of 2-0 on Wednesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Tigers also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Byron easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-20.

Byron's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-10. As for North Boone, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-16 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Byron will venture away from home to face off against Genoa-Kingston at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for North Boone, they will take on Pecatonica in a tournament on Saturday.
