University School of Jackson has gone a perfect 6-0 against South Gibson recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Bruins will welcome the Hornets at 6:00 p.m.

On Tuesday, University School of Jackson didn't have quite enough to beat St. Mary's Episcopal and fell 3-2. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as University School of Jackson came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee soccer rankings (they are ranked 35th, while St. Mary's Episcopal are ranked 104th).

Meanwhile, South Gibson made easy work of Adamsville on Thursday and carried off a 6-1 victory. Considering South Gibson have won six matchups by more than four goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Rylee Hood and Jaci Walters scored all six of South Gibson's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 31 goals.

South Gibson's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-2. As for University School of Jackson, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-4.

University School of Jackson beat South Gibson 3-1 in their previous meeting back in August of 2024. Do the Bruins have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Hornets turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
