Recap: Kennedy Knights vs. Trenton Central Tornadoes
The Kennedy Knights entered their tilt with the Trenton Central Tornadoes with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Kennedy blew past Trenton Central 53-29. That 53-29 margin sets a new team best for Kennedy this season.
My'Shayla Clancy continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 28 points and 11 rebounds. She set a new season high mark in steals with five. Another player making a difference was Zahniya Castillo , who scored eight points along with six rebounds and three blocks.
Kennedy pushed their record up to 4-4 with that win, which was their third straight at home. As for Trenton Central, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-2.
Kennedy will play host again and welcome Bergen Tech, where tip off is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Trenton Central is on the road again on Tuesday and play against West Windsor-Plainsboro North at 5:15 p.m. on January 2, 2024.
