Volleyball Recap: Village Christian's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak at Home + How To Watch

Village Christian suffered their biggest loss since September 11th on Tuesday. They came up short against the Valley Christian Defenders, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Defenders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on September 11th.

While Village Christian had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-18, 25-23.

Their offense was headlined by Victoria Ann Miller and Mackenize Larsen, who picked up 12 kills apiece. They got some help from Allexa Valencia and her 25 assists. Talia Mardrussian controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Village Christian's defeat ended a four-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-11. As for Valley Christian, they pushed their record up to 22-2 with the victory, which was their 11th straight on the road.
