Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Taylorville). Everything went their way against the Lanphier Lions on Wednesday as they made off with a 15-4 victory. The win continues a trend for the Tornadoes in their matchups with the Lions: they've now won five in a row.

Taylorville pushed their record up to 17-7 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Lanphier, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-22.
