Baseball Recap: Grandview Heights Takes a Loss

Grandview Heights was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 5-2 to the Buckeye Valley Barons. The Bobcats were not able to make up for their defeat to the Barons from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Grandview Heights now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Buckeye Valley, they pushed their record up to 4-2-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Buckeye Valley will venture away from home to challenge Johnstown-Monroe at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Grandview Heights will be paying especially close attention to the Barons' matchup: after the Barons faces off against the Johnnies, they'll take on Grandview Heights again at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
