Basketball Recap: Burleson Takes a Loss

Burleson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Everman Bulldogs, falling 44-18. The Elks were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bulldogs earlier this season, when they won 32-25.

Burleson's record now sits at 8-20. As for Everman, their win bumped their record up to 13-11.

Burleson will host Mansfield Timberview at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Everman, they will square off against Seguin at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Everman is facing Seguin at the right time seeing as Seguin is stuck on a 12-game losing streak.
