Basketball Recap: Levelland Comes Up Short

Levelland was the 59-39 winner over Big Spring when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Levelland Lobos fell 47-38 to the Big Spring Steers on Friday. The Lobos' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row.

Levelland's loss dropped their record down to 14-18. As for Big Spring, their win bumped their record up to 10-17.

Levelland will challenge Snyder at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Levelland is facing Snyder at the right time seeing as Snyder is stuck on a 16-game losing streak. As for Big Spring, they are taking a road trip to challenge Liberty at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Big Spring has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
